Charlie Bostwick, Brightwater Homes, Installed as HBA President

January 2017 – Charlie Bostwick, founder of award-winning architecture and homebuilding firm Brightwater Homes, was installed last night as President of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association during the group’s annual Installation and Awards Night at Villa Christina.

Charlie is a homebuilding industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience in homebuilding operations and leadership. Prior to founding Brightwater Homes, Charlie was Executive Vice President at Atlanta-based John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods where he led a team that was ranked first in both quality and customer satisfaction by J.D. Power and Associates for four consecutive years. In addition to his position as President, Charlie has also dedicated his time as a Trustee of the Atlanta International School and a volunteer for the Chattahoochee Nature Center, the Etowah River Habitat Conservation Plan and the Georgia Native Plant Society as well as a past board member for Habitat for Humanity.

Founded in 1945, the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association is a not-for-profit professional trade association dedicated to promoting, protecting and preserving the homebuilding industry as a viable economic force in the Atlanta area. It encompasses ten geographic chapters and more than 1200 member companies including contractors, developers, remodelers and housing-related businesses such as building materials manufacturers, real estate companies, architects, designers and more.
